Melodie Folkman

Melodie was born and raised in the state of Maine. She attended Maranatha Baptist University and earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in TESOL. She currently teaches 4th grade at the Academy of Excellence on the south side of Milwaukee. Additionally, she and her husband Sam serve at Brookside Baptist Church in Brookfield, WI.

For fun, Melodie enjoys spending time outside, reading, baking, and playing board games. An interesting fact—she has her Canadian citizenship. Melodie also likes drinking coffee and listening to music.

Melodie’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 27:1.
